Shopping Extravaganza in Alicante
Alicante is sunny heaven along the Mediterranean and every year millions of people come here to get some much desirable ‘vitamin-sea’. The city is also a dream destination for all the shopaholics who want to find something unique and exotic.
The city also has many other famous shopping streets like the Avenida Alfonso X el Sabio, Avenida Maisonnave, etc, and also some other small charming streets surrounding them. The Calle San Francisco is loved by the children as it has playgrounds, massive mushrooms, snails and many other kiddie delights. This street also has many shopping and food outlets which have to be explored at least once by every tourist.
However, if you want to discover the local produce in and around the city then you must head to the central market in Avenida Alfonso el Sabio, where you will find vegetables, fruits, fishes and also fresh meats. Apart from farm produce you will also find a large selection of homemade foodstuffs here.
The city also boasts of a variety of shopping malls like the El Corte Ingles, Centrol Comercial Panoramis, Centrol Comercial Puerta de Alicante and many more where you can shop for the latest designer brands.
